Easter Intensive Folk dance week-end
For intermediate & advanced dancers + Easter party ball
Finally, after many years of dreaming about it – here it is: Elena’s very own dance hall with an amazing parquet floor and a big kitchen !
If the weather is nice, we also have access to a stunning terrasse, and a warm welcoming veranda.
Moreover we are situated in a very beautiful region of Belgium, with parcs, lakes and a certain kind of « dolce vita ».
Join in for a full week-end of dancing, sharing, co-cooking, jam sessions and even an Easter Bal folk.
An intensive dance workshop for a limited number of dancers, where we will go in depth of some of Elena’s favourite dances !
- Some collective bourrées in 2 or 3 times
- Frame games for couple dances (very subtle rhythmic and other variations)
- A dance or two from Poitou (Avant-deux de Bregeon, Maraîchine with variations…) and / or Gascogne (Congo, Rondeau + variations …)
- One slightly complicated collective dance
We as a group will decide in the first hours which dances we will treat as our « main subjects », and which we will do a bit less.

Co-cooking
In order to keep everybody’s expenses at a minimum:
Breakfast will be set by the first people up 🙂
For all lunches and dinners, we will be co-cooking in teams of 2-3 people.
All the ingredients and recipies will be ready.
We will have vegetarian and meaty options (it is not possible to cater for more specific allergies/restrictions – please bring what you need).

Workshop Fri night-Mon afternoon + Food Fri night-Mon Brunch + Ball : 250€

Sleeping
Dormitory (mattress + pillow) : 10€/night (bring bed sheets or sleeping bag)
Dormitory : 5€/night (bring mattress, pillow + sheets or sleeping bag)
Rent 1 set of bed sheets : 10€ / week-end
Shower only (camper van) : 5€ / week-end
B’n’B in the neighbourhood : please enquire yourself
Beverages
Bring what you want (shop around the corner) ! Tea, filter coffee, water : included
Reservation
Your spot is reserved after you filled out the form and make a bank transfer of 100€.
For early birds, form and transfer must be done before Feb 3rd midnight.

Cancellation
Organizing an event like this is a lot of work and involves a significant risk. Therefore, we have the following cancellation policy: Cancellations are free of charge until March 3rd midnight, a €85 fee applies until March 27th midnight, and thereafter the full amount is due.
If unfortunately you have to cancel, feel free to find another intermediate or advanced dancer to take over your ticket. Thank you for your understanding.
