Description
In this workshop, Elena will share with you her passion for bourrées, and in particular the »Bourée d’Auvergne ».
Nowadays often incorrectly called « Bourrée à 3 temps », this is a very free and creative dance for two or more dancers.
In order to be able to improvise and have a lot of fun, Elena will share with you some important basic notions, such as:
- Basic steps, body and arm position… and how to dance for hours without getting tired
- Understanding the music
- Dancing bourrée auvergnate as a couple
- A set of forms and figures to start with
- How to recognize bourrées, and especially why « bourrée à 3 temps » does not automatically mean « bourrée auvergnate »
You may also expect a lot of fun, and possibly some bourrées for more than two.
